MEMBERSHIP

 

Membership is about more than attending church meetings. Members commit to joining a spiritual family that provides encouragement and support. They are called to a biblical degree of responsibility, service and sacrifice. If you would like to know more about becoming a member of Wynne Baptist, we invite you to participate in one of our DiscoverWBC classes. During this event you will learn more about Wynne Baptist’s purpose and discover the importance of connecting with other believers in fellowship.

HOW TO JOIN

It’s easy to join the Wynne Baptist family.

 

After exploring more about WBC, you may sense the leadership of God to become a part of our church family. One can become a member of WBC three different ways:

 

1. By Profession of Faith - When a person realizes that they are a sinner and repents of one's sin and trusts in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, they become a follower of Jesus Christ (or they are saved.)  By publicly professing that Christ has changed their life, they will then want to be baptized.

 

2. By Transfer of Letter - If you have been saved and baptized in a Baptist church of like faith and order, you can request that WBC receive you into our fellowship by Transfer of Letter.

 

3. By Statement - If you have been saved and baptized and have been a member in good standing of a Baptist church of like faith and order, you may join WBC on Statement of your Faith and membership.
